Kids @ First is all about connection. I don’t believe that Children’s Ministry can exist in a vacuum or as a separated organization inside – but not part of – the church. Kids are not just the future of the church but an important piece of the church now. With that in mind, a large part of our Children’s Ministry is focused on multi-generational worship, mission projects, and parent partnership. An important component of our ministry is equipping parents with discipleship resources and frequent opportunities to worship and serve alongside their children. As a parent of four children, I am passionate about supporting parents as they “train up a child in the way he should go”. Every time your child attends a group on Wednesdays or Sundays they receive a take home page that provides resources and opportunities for you as parents to continue the conversation throughout the week. I also try to provide resources for each milestone your child takes such as moving to “big church” or making a profession of faith to support you as you help them through these big steps.
